About Us
Souls in One (“SIO”) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its mission is to provide respite, support, and relief to individuals and their families affected by serious illness, including caregivers, by offering supportive services and programs designed to promote rest, emotional well-being, and quality of life during periods of medical treatment or recovery.
Meet Our Team
Greg Weinman
Greg has been a close friend of Liam Houck since childhood, riding the same school bus and living just walking distance apart. He is determined to honor Liam’s memory by helping raise awareness about melanoma and supporting the families and researchers fighting it. Greg works in digital marketing, where he specializes in helping law firms build their digital presence and connect with the clients who need them most. A proud husband to Laurel and father to Walker and Michael Liam, family is the foundation of everything he does. He is committed to turning personal loss into lasting impact and keeping Liam’s legacy alive through this foundation.
Andrew Mcnally
Liam was a very close friend of Andrew’s; like a brother. Watching him battle all of the health problems he faced with such a positive spirit and attitude was one of the most inspiring things he has ever witnessed. Andrew greatly looks forward to growing the Souls in One foundation to honor Liam’s legacy and help out other families in need of support.
Vince Weltz
Vince has been a close friend of Liam Houck since elementary school. He considers him a brother (as can be illustrated by the amount of fist fights they’ve had over the years) and is determined to help those suffering from melanoma. He does not want to see ANYONE go through what he witnessed his best friend go through. Vince works as a financial advisor sales professional at Envestnet Financial Technologies, where he partners with financial advisors on portfolio strategy and investment solutions. Vince holds an MBA and brings a disciplined, analytical mindset to the foundation’s operational and financial stewardship. He is committed to honoring Liam’s legacy by turning personal loss into lasting impact; raising awareness about melanoma and supporting the families and researchers fighting it.
Andrew Steege
Liam was the rare kind of person who served as the common denominator for everyone he met, effortlessly weaving together people from different social circles. Andrew first experienced this when he worked with Liam at the Mesquito Grille and what started as a coworker, turned into a lifelong friendship. Liam was a constant, relentless driving force who refused to let life—or his friends—pass him by. One of Andrew’s fondest memories of Liam was the morning he woke up to Liam holding a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, insisting it was time to head to the rope swing; he simply wouldn’t allow a good day to be wasted. That was Liam: he didn't just suggest plans; he made them happen with a contagious energy. In this non-profit, Andrew wants to honor Liam’s legacy by spreading awareness and prevention of Melanoma, in the same way Liam did in so many facets of his incredible life.
Buzz Lis
Buzz Lis is an Account Manager at an insurance agency, where he focuses on building strong relationships and helping clients navigate their coverage with confidence. Known for his friendly and laid-back approach, Buzz enjoys connecting with others and contributing to positive, team-driven environments. Outside of work, he spends his time on the golf course or playing baseball and softball, bringing the same teamwork and dedication to everything he does.
Buzz is also a board member/co-founder of Souls in One, a nonprofit foundation created in honor of his close friend Liam, who passed away from cancer a year and a half ago. Their friendship was built on loyalty, positivity, and always showing up for others — values that continue to inspire the foundation’s mission today. Through Souls in One, Buzz is committed to keeping Liam’s spirit alive by bringing people together, supporting those facing hardship, and making a meaningful impact in the community.
TJ Lennon
TJ is one of Liams closest friends. They spent their best days on the golf course, casting fishing lines, attending concerts & sporting events, and many other adventures
Liam was full of life and had a knack for connecting people. Souls In One is TJ's way of keeping Liams spirit alive, honoring the friendship they shared and supporting others facing the same fight.
Gabby Houck
Gabby is Liam’s youngest sister and after seeing the toll cancer can take on families, she is committed to ensuring that other siblings, moms, dads, and caretakers have the resources they need and the support of others who know what they’re facing. With Souls in One, she hopes to capture Liam’s “live life to the fullest” essence through outings and activities he always loved. A young professional in media and journalism, Gabby resides in Philadelphia and lives each day to survive her brother’s memory and make him proud.
Gene Houck – Executive Founder
Gene is the president and co-founder of Souls in One, a non-profit close to his heart and built from lived experience. Gene has worn many hats over the years, but the role he is most proud of is being there for his family. He met his perfect match, Chrissy, back in high school, and together they've shared over 40 years of life — the joyful times and the heartbreaking ones, including the devastating loss of their two sons, Kyle and Liam.
It was that grief, and everything he learned walking through it, that inspired him to do more for others who are hurting and in need of rest, comfort, and support. Souls in One is his way of honoring Kyle and Liam and the kindness that defined them.
When I'm not doing that work, you'll find Gene out on the water deep sea fishing — a passion he shared with both of his boys. Every time he heads out to sea, he feels as though they're right there with him.

Matt Lennon
Matt Lennon is a close friend of Liam, being introduced by his brother, TJ Lennon many years ago at the Grille. The fondest memories with Li were had on the golf course, down the shore fishing, and spending time with Liam’s wonderful family.
Souls in One was established to carry forward the spirit of connection, generosity, and community that Liam embodied throughout his life.
Matt is committed to honoring Liam's legacy by helping the foundation fulfill its mission and create lasting, meaningful impact to families who need it the most.
In his free time he enjoys supporting local non-profits, playing golf, and spending time down the shore.

Chrissy Houck is a mother, advocate, and the heart behind Souls in One — a family-inclusive respite care organization supporting families touched by cancer.
Fueled by the love of her three children and transformed by the heartbreak of losing two sons — one to opioids and one to cancer — Chrissy turned profound grief into purposeful action. Inspired by her boys' shared passions for fishing and golf, she built Souls in One around the belief that families heal best when they heal together.
Through fishing and golf tournaments held locally and internationally, Souls in One raises funds, fosters community, and creates meaningful experiences rooted in wellness, positivity, and hope. Chrissy's work is a testament to a mother's love — and a reminder that even in loss, we can find ways to lift others.
